With 1-circuit track systems, you only have one group and can use only one switch per track. All lamps therefore switch on or off simultaneously, or are dimmed at the same time. This system is generally cheaper to produce because less material is required. The 1-circuit tracks are also flatter than the 3-circuit tracks.
