Technical and organisational measures for security and privacy

A document framework has been drawn up to explain which data is collected and why. You can also find this information in the privacy policy. Qub has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.

Technically, hashing is also used, for example for email addresses in Google Analytics. A special cookie wall has been built to allow you to accept or refuse specific analytics and advertising scripts/cookies. An option has been added to the website to unsubscribe from previously accepted scripts/cookies. Special accounts have been set up in the accounting package and order system with only the permissions an employee needs, to protect customers' privacy as much as possible. All data is collected and stored in a secure (SSL) environment, both on the website and in the order system.

From an organizational perspective, we have further expanded our privacy policy and made it more transparent for all parties. Internally, employees sign a confidentiality agreement when they join the company. Public computers are configured to lock after a very short period, preventing unauthorized access to (customer) data. We have also installed combination locks on the doors to offices and other areas where computers and documents containing potentially privacy-sensitive information are stored. Finally, we have entered into data processing agreements with all parties with whom data may be exchanged.
If you have any questions about Qub's Privacy Policy, please contact us. Our customer service team will be happy to help if you need information about your data or want to change it. If our Privacy Policy needs to be amended, you will always find the most up-to-date information on this page.
