EU Data Act

1. Scope

This statement applies to the smart LED lighting modules that are part of the Qub Line magnetic track lighting system and communicate via the Zigbee protocol.

2. Product description

The product consists of smart LED lighting that communicates wirelessly with a compatible smart home hub via the Zigbee protocol.

The lighting modules have no independent internet connection.

3. Data generation

During normal use, the product generates only technical and functional user data necessary for operation within a local smart home network, including:

on/off status,
lighting settings such as brightness and colour temperature,
connection and status information required for communication with the smart home hub.

The product itself does not generate personal data.

4. Data processing and storage

All data processing takes place locally via the Zigbee smart home hub selected by the user.
The manufacturer of the Qub Line magnetic track lighting system has no access to this data.
The manufacturer does not collect, store, analyse or process user data.
The product does not use cloud services or external servers managed by the manufacturer.

5. Access to data

Users can access the data generated by the product via the smart home hub and its associated software or application.
The method of accessing, storing and further processing the data is determined by the smart home hub provider and falls outside the manufacturer’s responsibility.

6. Sharing data with third parties

The manufacturer does not share data with third parties.
Any sharing of data takes place exclusively within the ecosystem of the smart home hub selected by the user and is subject to that platform’s policies and settings.

7. User rights

In accordance with the EU Data Act, users have the right to:

access the data generated via the product,
use, transfer or share this data within the smart home environment, insofar as this is supported by the relevant hub and software.
