What are track systems?

Track systems are the rails to which you can attach track spots. That is why these rails are also called light tracks. Because all the track spots are connected to a single rail, you only need one power connection for all the lights on that rail. With the connector attached to each track spot, you can easily click the spots into the light tracks. You can also easily rotate and move the track spots along these rails, allowing you to position the lighting exactly where you want it.

Various 1-circuit track accessories are also available. These allow you to create not only straight lines, but also crosses and corners. This creates a convenient network of rails on the ceiling, allowing you to adjust the lighting quickly and easily whenever you wish.

What is 1-circuit track lighting?

There are two types of track lighting: 1-circuit and 3-circuit track lighting. With 3-circuit systems, you essentially have 3 circuits to which you can connect your lights. This means you can later connect them to separate switches or dimmers.

With 1-circuit track systems, you have only one circuit and can use just one switch per rail. All the lights therefore turn on or off simultaneously, or are dimmed at the same time. This system is generally cheaper to produce because it requires less material. 1-circuit rails are also flatter than 3-circuit rails.
