My 1-circuit track is too long. Can I shorten it?

You can easily cut the tracks to size. It is best to cut the 1-circuit track with a sharp hacksaw, starting at the underside (back) of the track. This will give you the cleanest cut in your track. We recommend not making the piece of track shorter than 20 cm, as you still need to fit a power supply and end cap onto it. 

For example, do you want 1.5 metres of 1-circuit track? Then order 2 1-metre sections with a connector. Saw 50 cm off one of the tracks. After sawing, connect the sections with the connector.

Can I run my 1-circuit track through multiple rooms?

Would you like to start your 1-circuit track in the hallway and extend it through the wall into the living room? This is possible. For this, you need a connector on the hallway side and a connector on the living room side. Run the power wires through the wall between these connectors and connect them again on the other side. 

Make sure that you connect only one power supply from the entire system to the fuse box! Connecting power to the track at multiple points will cause a short circuit, which can damage the track and spotlights.
