Step-by-step installation
Safety first: switch off the power before you begin.
Preparation
- Choose the desired location for the track and measure its length.
- Make sure the mounting surface is flat and sturdy.
- Turn off the power.
Mounting the track
- The track has no pre-drilled holes. Drill them yourself in the desired location using a small metal drill bit.
- Mark the drill holes and, if necessary, drill holes for wall plugs.
- Click the included end caps into the track for a neat finish.
- Optionally, cut the sealing strip to size and place it in the track.
Good to know: the track is mounted directly against the ceiling or wall. No mounting brackets are available. Would you like to suspend the track? Use pendants (sold separately).
Connecting to the power supply
- Make a small hole in the track to feed the power cable through.
- Connect the power supply unit to the track.
- Check that all electrical connections are correct.
- Turn the power back on and test the track.
Installing magnetic lights
- Simply place the lights on the track.
- Check that the lights are securely attached and working.
Please note: lights cannot be installed at the location of a connector or the power supply.
Zigbee and smart control
The fixtures in the magnetic track system work with Zigbee: a wireless communication protocol widely used in smart lighting.

Connecting to Zigbee
- Make sure you have a Zigbee Bridge, such as Philips Hue or Homey (not included).
- Put the lights into pairing mode by switching the power off and on. The lights will flash.
- Follow the instructions for your Bridge to pair the lights.
- After that, control the lights only via the app, not with a wall switch.
Important
- Zigbee does not work directly with a smartphone. A Bridge is always required.
- When purchasing additional Zigbee products, check that they are compatible with your system.
Touchlink pairing
Zigbee dimmers can be paired without a controller or hub with hardware that supports Touchlink, such as remote controls or wireless switches.
Troubleshooting
Expansion options
The system is modular. You can add extra tracks and lights and easily connect them to your existing Zigbee network.
Use and maintenance
Track lighting requires little maintenance. Follow these steps to keep your system neat and safe.
Moving lights
- Remove the light from the track and place it in the new position.
- Do not position lights directly over a connector or power supply.
Cleaning
- Turn off the power.
- Clean the track and lights with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Periodic checks
- Check that the track is still firmly attached to the ceiling or wall.
- Check that the connections are still secure.
