By connecting the track rails in an O-shape, you can create a type of frame on the ceiling. This allows you to match the track system to the shape of the room, positioning all lighting along the edges of the space. You can choose to direct the track spotlights towards the walls to highlight artwork or paintings. Alternatively, you can aim the spotlights towards the centre of the room to define the space with lighting. An O-shape can also be used to frame a specific area, such as a seating area, a kitchen island, or a large dining table. This way, the track lighting helps to emphasise the function of the space.
What You Need
- 4x L-connector
- 2x I-connector
- 6x track rails
- Track spotlights
Of course, you can always expand or modify this list to suit your needs. Depending on how large you want the track lighting shape to be, you can add additional track rails. However, always ensure that a connector is placed between two track rails so that the entire system is powered. Additionally, make sure that the opposite sides consist of the same components and have the same length. Otherwise, the right angles will not align correctly.
