U-shaped Track Lighting

With U-shaped track lighting, you can create a frame on the ceiling similar to an O-shape but with three sides. This shape is ideal for placement at the end of a hallway or room, where the tracks run parallel to the back wall and the two side walls. This design helps accentuate the shape of the space and can make the room appear longer. Additionally, this layout allows you to define different zones within a space, such as by placing the track lighting only above a seating area.

What You Need

• 2x L-connector
• 2x I-connector
• 5x single-phase track rails
• Track spotlights

Of course, you can always expand or customise the list to suit your needs. Depending on how large you want the track lighting to be, you can add additional track rails. However, always ensure that a connector is placed between two track rails so that the entire system is properly powered.

One advantage of the U-shape compared to the O-shape is that you do not need to maintain equal side lengths. You can make one side of the U-shape longer than the other to better fit the space. This configuration provides slightly more flexibility while still creating a frame that visually separates part of the room from the rest.
