P-shaped Track Lighting

When considering track lighting for your interior, a P-shape may not be the first design that comes to mind. However, this shape has several unique characteristics that make it worth considering. P-shaped track lighting is particularly useful if you want to frame a specific part of the room while also providing lighting for another area. For example, you can outline a seating area with track lighting while also illuminating the pathway leading to it. This not only emphasises the shape of the room but also helps create a structured and well-defined space.

Choosing the Right Track Lighting Shape

When selecting a shape for your track lighting, it is essential to consider the layout and function of the room. Do you want to illuminate the entire space with track lighting or just a section? Should all track sections be connected, or would separate configurations work better? A P-shaped track lighting setup is ideal for rooms where the areas you want to highlight naturally form a P-shape. This ensures that the lighting layout aligns perfectly with the shape of the space.

What You Need

  • 3x L-connector
  • 1x T-connector
  • 2x I-connector
  • 7x single-phase track rails
  • Track spotlights

Of course, you can always expand or modify this list based on your specific needs. Depending on how large you want the track lighting layout to be, you can add additional track rails. Keep in mind that every two track rails must be connected with a connector to ensure the entire system is powered. Additionally, ensure that the opposite sides consist of identical components and have the same length. Otherwise, the right angles will not align correctly.
